Overview
Alexander Sloan are an accountancy and financial services provider based in Glasgow. The leadership team wanted to create a better working environment for the staff, and a space that can be multi-functional, as well as having a strong identity.
The business has a rich heritage with a strong sense of history but it was important to present a modernised image to existing and prospective staff as well as clients. SPACE were engaged to consult with the wider staff about their aspirations for the new office and to develop an ambitious design brief for the project.
Our Approach
Taking inspiration from the clients brand colours, the design brief we agreed with Alexander Sloan was to create an office that was bold, but not too brash.
We wanted to use the strong blue of the logo to provide a strong sense of brand whilst complementing it with a natural colour palette to create a warm, welcoming space. Design features were added such as wood effect and bold blacks in the floor to present a modern and interesting space.

A feature timber slatted wall with bespoke branded logo behind reception creates a spectacular first impression to staff and clients alike.
The luxury vinyl tile flooring is an impactful design feature that spans the full length of the space and is used as a central walkway from reception through to the kitchen/breakout which gives the office a natural flow.
